As a guest with Rivierabike it is important that you have read and understood our terms and conditions set out below. It is pretty standard stuff and is there for your protection as well as ours.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 20% per person is required to secure your booking.
Paying the Balance
Rivierabike must receive payment of the final balance no later than 8 weeks from commencement of your holiday. If we don’t receive this balance then we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and the cancellation charges below shall apply. We will make every effort to contact you at this point and only when we have no communication from you or you have unsatisfactory reasons for failing to pay the balance that we will cancel your booking. If you book within 8 weeks of your holiday then the full balance will be required once we receive confirmation of your booking. Euro Exchange Rates Rivierabike charges in Euros. You may pay for your holiday in Euros or Sterling. The Sterling to Euro exchange rate will be calculated at date of issue of invoice. Please note that if paying in installments (i.e deposit and final balance) the exchange rate will be calculated independently at date of issue of respective invoices. Changes to Bookings Rivierabike will make every effort to make any changes should you wish to amend the details originally supplied on your booking form. If we cannot accommodate these changes and you wish to cancel then the cancellation charges will apply. Cancellation Charges In the event of cancellation made by you the charges listed below will apply. Rivierabike will require written confirmation.
Cancellation by Rivierabike
In the event that we have to cancel your holiday, you will be offered either a full refund of all monies paid by you or an offer of different dates which ever you prefer.
Single Person Supplement
Prices given are based on two people sharing. Should you have an odd number of people in your group or are travelling alone please indicate whether you or a member of your group will be prepared to share with another (same sex) person. Should this not be possible, a single supplement may apply. |
The Weather
Although here in Liguria we enjoy vast amounts of sunshine and warm weather it can occasionally change. Bad weather conditions can sometimes affect your riding and enjoyment of your holiday. Rivierabike cannot control the weather and in the unlikely event that weather conditions will affect your holiday, Rivierabike cannot be held responsible and no refunds can be given. Insurances
Rivierabike CANNOT be held responsible for any injury to persons whilst riding and any loss, theft or damage to personal property. All guests of Rivierabike must have a EHIC card (old E111) and/or appropriate specialist travel insurance to cover them for mountain biking, cancellations and other activities they wish to partake in whilst on holiday with Rivierabike. Documentary proof will be required prior to riding. NO Insurance NO riding. Clients travel in Rivierabike vehicles entirely at their own risk.
Rider Responsibility
Mountain biking is an extreme sport and carries an element of danger therefore all riders have a responsibility for their own and safety of others.
Hirers are responsible for all damage to or loss of the bike during the period of hire up to the replacement cost of the bike if stolen. General wear and tear such as brake pads, tyres, cables etc.. is included within the hire cost. Payments for bike hire are normally made in advance of the holiday. If payment is to be made on arrival a deposit (credit card number and signature of authorisation) or a passport and advance cash payment for the full bike rental will be required. Rivierabike will take care to ensure that the bike is in full working order however components can malfunction. Hirers are responsible for their own safety whilst riding any bike hired to them by Rivierabike. |
